Shannon was paddling for a wave when the shark attacked. This spot is a world class point break in South Africa and has a really bad reputation for great white encounters. There are some deep channels running close to the bowl/ take-off area. He is so freakin lucky. Great white have been seen exhibiting group feeding behaviour so this is a little but not that suprising. Lucky guy…he admits to peeing in the water…alot…which I hope has ceased.
