Shannon was paddling for a wave when the shark attacked. This spot is a world class point break in South Africa and has a really bad reputation for great white encounters. There are some deep channels running close to the bowl/ take-off area. He is so freakin lucky. Great white have been seen exhibiting group feeding behaviour so this is a little but not that suprising. Lucky guy…he admits to peeing in the water…alot…which I hope has ceased.

I live in south africa and i do swimming races in the sea and i was attacked by an 18 foot 1 in south africa they grow to 28 foot
There was one stayed round my way. He used to loan out a tenner and suckers would have to pay £12 back within a week. I think it was a loan shark.
