Yikes! at Swim At Your Own Risk

Yikes!

A South African lifeguard survived a close encounter with a giant shark that attacked his jetski on Friday. Lyle, 19, felt himself and his ski being lifted out of the water and then heard a loud sound like a car smashing against something, before he realized that a shark had taken a large bite out of the rear end of his jetski. He turned around and saw the shark’s huge jaws wrapped around the back of his jetski! He fell off the jetski and luckily, a friend scooped him up and saved him.

Dear God, my friend. I’m headed to Kiawah Island, petrified of sharks and yet I can’t stop looking at your blasted sight…is this pic, real?

the incident in fish hoek, false bay. The kid was on a kayak propelled by a paddle, NOT a jetski driven by a motor and weighing almost nothing compared to a jetski. The shark was under 4m if you look at the bite radius, NOT a giant shark, probably not even sexually mature yet. The picture is fake, NOT real, and the person who took the shark foto (Chris Fallows) won’t appreciate the sloppy photoshop work done to his masterpiece!! Come on guys…get your facts straight
