Hey Dolphin, Nice Legs!
Japanese researchers said Sunday that a bottlenose dolphin captured last month has an extra set of fins that could be the remains of hind legs… Fishermen captured the four-finned dolphin alive off the coast of Wakayama on Oct. 28. Fossil remains show dolphins and whales were four-footed land animals about 50 million years ago and share the same common ancestor as hippos and deer. Scientists believe they later transitioned to an aquatic lifestyle and their hind limbs disappeared.

We’ve been telling you this all along. Pretty soon, a shark is going to just walk out of the ocean and take a bite out of a sunbather. Its only a matter of time.
And now we have scientific proof.
Bull crap! Its only a defect its not proof that animals are evolving and where in the fossil record does it show whales evolving into land animals.
I thought fossils record showed whales and dolphins started out on land.
I think there are even residual bones “left over” in some whale species that indicate legs were once there.
There is no way they could tell with one dolphin, Dr.Paul is right! When and if they find another dolphine like this one I will start to believe it. But until then it’s just a freak accident. I hope they find more things like this but there needs to be more proof. I can wait.
there is nothing in the fossil record that shows dolphins and whales started out on land. scientists are still looking for the “missing links”.no parent species can be found either.no, a freak mutation is all it is.
but what do you all think about the shark with “legs”?
yea you guys are all idiots. this dolphins got a workin set of extra fins whether they were once legs or not it shows a form of evolution working now not a billion f#$$in years ago . . . now
Hmm. So if a human is born with extra legs it means we used to walk with four legs?
jesus you lot are dumb, also sharks are FISH
whales etc are mammals, evolution takes a long long time..
Mr. Randy.. our arms were our front legs!!
whippet, evolution only stops when the species become extinct.
