Giant Croc Pulled From Darwin River
Tuesday, November 7th, 2006

Five people were needed to haul a 660lb crocodile from an popular Australian swimming spot. The 12ft male saltwater crocodile wasn’t too happy about being removed from the river and transported to a local crocodile farm. Three female crocs have also been removed from the same area during the past six weeks. And a total of nearly 190 crocodiles have been removed from Darwin Harbour this year! Despite constant warnings, people continue to swim in the river. Lunch is served!
