   I am so dispointed by this “giant” squid. 3.5 meters? That’s a baby. I wanna see a ship eater.

   I’m with Ryan; let’s see one that drags a ship down. But still, after seeing all the dead ones, it seems almost fake to see a live one.

   THAT’S A GIANT SQUID ? MY TEACHER TOLD ME IT WAS 15 FT. ! THAT LOOKS LIKE IT’S 5 FT.!!!!

   Thats the biggest i’ve ever seen; and not to mention alive. The picture quality is not the best and the depth perception makes it look smaller than it actually is. In actual fact the squid should be around 25-30ft from top of pod to tip of tentacles. There is also a species of called the colossal squid which is bigger than the gian squid. The dinner plate sized eyes tell it all!

   just watch the vid guys 24 ft long they caught it, lost it, caught it again and it died after catching it again, a NOT fully grown female
