The picture quality is not the best and the depth perception makes it look smaller than it actually is. In actual fact the squid should be around 25-30ft from top of pod to tip of tentacles. There is also a species of called the colossal squid which is bigger than the gian squid. The dinner plate sized eyes tell it all! Thats the biggest i’ve ever seen; and not to mention alive.
