Rare Shark Caught on Film

A Tokyo fisherman spotted this odd-looking, eel-like creature (with a mouthful of needle-sharp teeth) on Sunday. He notified the Awashima Marine Park where park staff captured the 5 ft creature. Turns out it was a frilled shark, rarely seen alive because it usually lives 2000 ft under the sea. The shark died a few hours after being caught.
