It seems fake to me, also. Not only the mouth, but it’s not very fluid as it swims. It sort of tilted right and left as it swam along. But, still ugly though!!
The article said it was sick, so that may have been why it wasn’t very fluid, or why it never shut its mouth. But yeah, it’s extremely disturbing looking.
how come there was a red light in its mouth it looks real to me but i only ever seen pictures of frilled sharks on google never in all of my books on sharks hmmmmm
