Dolphin Dying of a Broken Heart?

A dolphins’ trainer who was the victim of a frenzied attack by her neighbour, has died — and the dolphin, apparently, is dying of a broken heart. Tamara Monti, 37, was stabbed to death in her apartment in Riccione, Italy by Alessandro Doto, 35, who lived next door. He told police that he had been driven mad by the incessant barking of Ms Monti’s two dogs. Yesterday, employees at the water park said that they had lost not only “a marvellous trainer” but were also in danger of losing Mary G, the dolphin that Ms. Monti had saved and cared for after it was found injured two years ago. Mary G is refusing to eat and has lost 110lbs since Ms Monti’s murder.

That dolphin knows what’s up. If I ever have one more person tell me fish aren’t intelligent, I am going to smack them.
Right on Brenda! Thats just really sad…
That sucks. The same shit happened to the OG Flipper
Well Brenda, technically, a dolphin is not a fish, but I get your point.
Um… Brenda fish are dumb just not aquatic mammals, well- maybe.
I swear, fish are not dumb. Mine recognizes me every morning and hides if it is someone else that sits at my desk. I’ve got him trained to come to my finger. He jams out with the headphones on his fishbowl. My fish has a LIFE.
Sharks are dumb! Its all that cartilage, fish and other aqautic mammals are really sharp…sharks keep mistaking people for seals…etc
Sharks arent mistaking us for seals, etc…..they are hungry and they wanted to bite us.
I’m one of the biologists who rescued Mary G.
Only two things.
1. the story is a complete invention of newspapers. There’s no connection between Tamara’s death and Mary G. problems.
2. Mary G. is not dying at all!
Thank you
A bin “Ciao” from Italy
Where your credentials….oh I am actually the guy who rescued Mary G and rehabilitated her…ya right

Came upon this while I was srufing, and it is nice that this gentleman wrote. Animals DO mourn, but I hope Mary is doing well. My thanks for “Marco” for letting people know.
