Giant Shark Washes Up At Puget Sound
Friday, March 2nd, 2007

A very pregnant female shark, more than 14 feet long, apparently had left its normal habitat in ocean waters up to 3,000 feet deep to give birth in the protected habitat of Puget Sound. The massive sixgill shark, possibly the largest ever seen in the Puget Sound region, died shortly after it was found.
