Shark Week Star Dies Base Jumping

jimmyhall1.jpg
Notorious shark feeder and soon to be host of the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week, Jimmy Hall, is dead after a daredevil stunt took a tragic turn. Hall, 41, was performing the stunt for a camera crew when he slammed into the side of a mountain.

Hall, the owner of Hawaii Shark Encounters, was infamous for harassing marine wildlife and endangering public safety by feeding sharks for thrill-seeking tourists off the coast of Oahu.

His debut performance for the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week was only half completed when he died. R.I.P. Jimmy.

Well I’d say that’s pretty stupid.
I’d be sure to plan out my base jump and make sure there’s NO risk before I went ahead with it.

    Awww, that’s sad.

But I think that it goes without saying that that’s the risk you take when you have a thrill seeking personality… At least he died doing something he loved.

I’m a high school senior in Guam, USA. Jimmy Hall’s MOTHER.. is my Marine Biology teacher. Ironically, my first reaction would be the same as yours.. “well, doing what he does.. he’d die some time..jus like steve irwin..” but it’s so much more different.. if u actually know the family… my teacher was distraught.. early in the year, she showed us all his video clips from when he was with the Great White.. so we were very familiar with him.. one day… when i came to class.. she jus looked.. SAD.. and this woman.. i had no idea she had tear ducts.. or even had the ability to cry.. with a shaky voice and tear filled eyes.. she told us what happened..she left this week to go to Hawaii.. so.. please guys lets respect the dead.. thanks

    yOU KNOW, MY TEACHER SAYS
” WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER” THAT GUY shoulda worked harder on his mathermatic techniques of formulas and stuuf- then he see, and if something goes wrong to bad for him. Life ain’t perfect. So, if you decide to be eaten or killed, plan smart, and if you don’t plan to die… plan really smart. GET THE FREAKIN’ IDEA? I’M SAYING…

He seems like a nice guy. Just having fun, not looking for death. Just like our marines , they dont go over to Iraq to die . There going over to help, for a job , to support thier familys to stay out of trouble from a previous life ect.
He was living life. Be respectful he has family and freinds that cared for him.

There is no such thing as “NO risk” when base jumping, Luke. That should go without saying.
