Helicopter Pilot Saves Surfers from Shark

A honeymoon couple sitting in a helicopter above South Africa’s Plettenberg Bay got a front row seat to a close encounter between five surfers and a great white shark.
The 11 ft shark was spotted by a helicopter pilot who was flying the couple and another passenger over the beach.
The pilot saw the shark approaching the surfers about 150 ft off shore, then flew his helicopter down towards the surfers to warn them with hand signals to swim away – but the surfers thought he was just waving hello!
When the shark was just 15 ft from the surfers, the pilot flew his chopper between the shark and the surfers creating a diversion and the shark swam off. Phew!

i wanted to say that there is a scene with an helicopter in jaw if i remember but this time helicopter won..
The name of the movie you are refering too is Jaws.
I am trying to get hold of the actual photo (hopefully a few if i get permission) and i”ll upload & send you guys a link ..anyways nothing like Helicopter Vs Jaws ..it was a 3-4m Great White that was a mere 2m away from 2 of the surfers when pilot got close enough which then the shark & surfers headed in opposite directions.
The photo i s simply amazing ..but not a shark fighting chopper ..still don’t think people really get how big a 4m GW is..esp when you next to it
