Giant Shark Terrorizes Fishermen

An 19 ft shark terrified three fishermen as it circled their boat for 25 minutes off Mandurah yesterday.

Rob Worthington, 28, said the shark was longer than his fibreglass cruiser and approached the boat while it was anchored on a reef. But the fishermen were unable to get away because the boat’s anchor was wedged in the reef. They called for assistance from water police, who were on the way to help when the anchor finally came free. Phew!
