100 Stitches Later…

More than 100 stitches were used to close the wounds caused by a shark which attacked a primary school student on the Mid-North Coast in Australia. Yeouch.
Jack Moir was catching waves at Shelly Beach when he was attacked around sunset on Tuesday evening. His ankle and leg were bitten and the suspected culprit was either a bull shark or bronze whaler. He underwent four hours of surgery. His family was too distraught to speak yesterday, but friends say Jack is doing “OK”.
Get well soon, Jack.
