The Jellies Are Coming! The Jellies Are Coming!

If you’re headed to the beaches of Hawaii this weekend, take your nylons. According to the city’s Ocean Safety and Lifeguard Services Division, the monthly invasion of box jellyfish is coming to the south shores.

Officials say the jellyfish are scheduled to arrive on Saturday. They show up 7-10 days after a full moon. Last month, more than 600 jellyfish washed up on Waikiki Beach.
