That’s a whale shark. He eats little shrimp:)
Basking Sharks pose no threat. Those two swimmers are in about the same amount of danger as they would be swimming that close to a duck – a rubber one! The Basking Shark is a passive filter feeder – it doesn’t hunt anything – it just swims with its mouth open filtering zooplankton. Its teeth are 5mm in length. It’s completely harmless and totally endangered thanks to us killing it in such large numbers.
Shark attacks are indeed scary but you go way over the top on this site with the level of paranoia. You might as well have posted a photo of a kitten and spoken about lion attacks.

It’s harmless. It should be very easy to kill it!
