Catch… and Release
Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

An injured shark was found swimming around California’s Marina Pacifica harbor Tuesday afternoon.
Bystanders spotted the shark circling the marina at about 1:15 p.m.
The shark had a heavy-gauge fishing line and hook caught in its mouth. Workers from the Aquarium used a net to capture the 6-foot female blue shark. The injured shark was treated and released.

That is awesome. I am so glad that caring and loving people did this for a shark that everyone fears. I love sharks and they deserve the respect they demand, bravo to the people who cared to help.
