Surfer Taunted by Sharks Twice in One Day!

200265582-001.jpg
A surfer escaped unhurt after two near misses with some pesky sharks off New Zealand.

Olivia Hislop had been catching waves off the South Island tourist town of Kaikoura on Sunday when she said felt a tug on her board.

Olivio turned around expecting to see a friend fooling around but instead there was a shark gnashing its teeth and sitting half on her board!

As she pulled her board from underneath the shark it turned around and smacked her in the forehead with its tail before swimming off.

Undeterred, Olivia kept surfing and as she paddling out to catch another wave she felt a shark bump against her bare feet, which were dangling in the ocean. When she lifted the foot, she saw that her leash had been bitten through by the shark.

Olivia has decided not to go back into the water for the time being.

Uh, good idea, Olivia.

If she would have had her legged bitten off the second time, I would have not felt sorry for her. She gets lucky once and still decides to keep surfing in shark infested waters? Ya not too bright.

Why does everyone think the shark was looking to do her harm. Truth is, it wanted a scratch under the chin.

If I were riding my dirtbike in the woods where LIONS roamed, is that the same as riding a surfboard in water where SHARKS roam? No, see because in the woods, we can breath and run and do eveything normal, BUT in the water…. your F’d. That B is Stupid… get a new hobby for cryn out loud!

If I even imagined there was a shark in the water with me, I’d be back on dry land faster than you could spit me! Is this person insane? Sharks are not mammals, they’re not even reptiles. They do not “play”. They are fish, and as such have tiny, primeval brains which respond to extremely base urges, like, um, eating and reproducing, and not much else. I’m not sure why there seems to be such a bizarre culture of indestructable machismo among the surfing population. Most surfers live in places where the waves are utter garbage or nonexistent, and the rest appear to enjoy being very dumb. Sharks are highly specialised killing machines. But one question remains: Was this a recognised killer species, or is it much ado about nuthin’? Some sharks are completely harmless, and it is not specified in the article which type it was, but if it was even vaguely capable of eating, or biting, me, then I’m afraid the verdict is in: MORON.

I love the part about the shark smacking her in the forehead! The shark did the deed that we’d like to do… so, can we now find her and bite the crap outta her like the shark should have done… LOL that sh*t is funny. What an idiot.
