Possible Shark Bite In South Florida… So What Else Is New?

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, an 8-year-old boy may have been bitten by a shark Saturday afternoon.

The boy was Jet Skiing off Lovers Key State Park beach in Bonita Springs, FL when a call came in around 6 p.m. and EMS rushed to the scene.

Area hospitals would not say whether a patient was admitted Saturday for a shark bite or not.
