Surfer Bitten by Shark at New Smyrna

A surfer at New Smyrna Beach was injured on Thursday when he was bitten on the ankle by a shark.
It was the fourth reported shark attack in Volusia County in 2008, officials said.
The 18-year-old surfer was treated on the beach. He’ll live.
