First Pics From “Goblin Shark Attack”

Goblin Shark Attack, the killer-fish flick filming down under (previously known as Malibu Shark Attack) has just finished shooting in Queensland, AU. They changed the name since the movie’s predators are based on a species of shark called goblin sharks. And trust me, these are big ones.
The monster goblin sharks get released from a big underground cavern during a seaquake. The resulting tsunami washes them ashore and all hell breaks loose.
The film is still set in Malibu and stars Peta Wilson (La Femme Nikita) as lifeguard heroine Heather. Can’t wait.

BOOOOOOO! hissss hissss!!
CRAP! You beat to this one. Curses Markus!
I hear that JAWS 5–Resurface is coming out 8/08…Trailer on You Tube looks awful! Check it out….
Why do they still waste film on these movies… Killer sharks, giant spiders, gorish B rated CRAP. I think we should take all the crappy film makes that have made a bad shark movie and put them in a tank full of hungry sharks. Perhaps we could film that!
dude, goblin sharks are small and they are small hence the name goblin…but they may have special powers that turn other sharks against humans…this must be what the movie is about!
Is this Jaws VIII?
Kevin McGrinder goes for a swim…
NICE
Hi! I’m French and I love daniel Radcliffe!
Je vous prouve que je suis francaise comme ca!
This is so cool. How about more new pics????
that looks like it hurtt ahhhhhhhhhhhh
what is this man im studing to be a marine biologist there has never has been a fatal attack from the goblin plus it,s kind of hard to bite you because of it,s mouth and also they would come so close to shore they live at 45,oo feet under water so this is so dumb
Retarded~ Goblin Sharks are too small, too timid, and too deep to create a jaws like movie.
Better late than never, I suppose …
Please don’t get too hung up on whether a real Goblin Shark would wreak such havoc – my wife worked on this film as a beach extra for a week (you will LOVE the beach scenes, even if they are corny). Tits and bums galore.
On the story front, it is based on a seismic event releasing ancient, mutant Goblins. Sleek and able to react. You know, the usual.
Don’t bag it yet until you see it. We don’t have a clue what it will end up like, as we weren’t privy to any post-production. Fingers crossed for a good result!
Forgot to mention the cast. Apart from Peta Wilson (she played frisbee with any comers to keep warm), there were some insanely beautiful and seasoned actors from the US and Canada. If you check their entries on IMDB, you’ll see that these stunning women have real credits, in things you’ve seen.
The guys are Baywatch, for obvious reasons, but worth a cack (that means, to laugh hard). Shot on the southern Gold Coast, it is set in southern California, I seem to remember. The majestic Elephant Rock surf club at Currumbin beach doubles as a flooded luxury restaurant. All other tank and “building” scenes were at Warner studios.
This thing had a LOT of funding, even though the one production shot on this site would seem to suggest otherwise. Trust me, the daily organisation and the level of catering alone speak volumes about the cash then spent on editing, enhancing and mood.
It occurs to me to say, if there’s anyone wanting to know anything about the backstories to the movie’s production (we got involved at the first main casting for extras and then followed things up to end off principal shoot), just drop a note on this site and I’ll check back every two weeks or so.
So you know that I’m checking, I’ll leave a note to that effect in case no questions have come in yet.
Just in case
One week later and no questions yet. See anyone in another week or so.
Yickes. I wouldn’t want to meet up with one of those.
Everybody knows thas fake. Yall or soooo RETARTED.
