Shark Attack Victim Speaks

Jason Cull says he plunged his fingers into the eye of the white pointer trying to free himself from its jaws after being bitten in the leg while swimming off Middleton Beach in Albany, Western Australia.
The 37-year-old father-of-two underwent five hours of surgery at Albany Hospital yesterday to repair his left calf.
Reliving the ordeal from his hospital bed, Culls says he was just 250 feet from the beach during a 7.30am swim when the shark clamped its jaws around his left leg and dragged him under water.
The action was caught by Mark Bickerdike, who thought he was snapping an early morning picture of a dolphin. Think again, Mark.
As Jason Cull struggles to make his way to shore, two of his friends can be seen splashing the water to distract the 12 ft shark.
A wounded Mr Cull can be seen in the foreground being helped to shore by local surf lifesaver Joanne Lucas, who came to his rescue after he was bitten.

can you see the shark in this picture?
Its a wonder why people even go into the water anymore in Australia.
Ever see that movie, “Faces of death”?
