Shark Bites Panamanian Election Official

A Panamanian judge was bitten by a shark off the Central American nation’s Pacific coast.

Electoral court judge Gerardo Solis was bitten on his left calf Sunday near San Carlos beach.

Solis’s father told local media Monday his son was filming while sitting on a surfboard when the shark attacked him.
