UPDATE: Bama Shark Was Planted?

A state fisheries official says that upon further inspection the dead shark found in Lake Guntersville last week turned out to be an Atlantic sharpnose shark, not a bull shark.

Bull sharks are known for going inland up rivers, but not Atlantic sharpnose sharks… they pretty much stay in the oceans.

So….. now they think someone planted the shark. Great, so someone’s trying to start a shark colony in the lake? Doesn’t make me feel any safer.
