It’s Shark Season in South Africa!

The first Great White sharks of the season have been spotted near the shoreline in False Bay, South Africa and beachgoers are being urged to use caution when entering the water.
The City of Cape Town says Great White sharks are present in the coastal waters all year round and people should always be aware of the possibility of encountering them… but over the past five years, the period of mid-August to the end of November has recorded the highest numbers of “interactions” between Great White sharks and people.
People are being encouraged to use areas where shark spotters are on duty and to take the time to speak to the shark spotters on the day they visit the beach to find out about recent sightings and activity.

I would kill to be there. I have always wanted to visit the waters of South Africa JUSTTT to spot a beautiful great white. I have gone cage diving before but the sharks I saw were not as deadly or gorgeous….mostly sandbar, rays, and eels but i have always wanted to see a real life great white.
Godd work on editing this article…although it probably is that time in Australia too!
