Dubai Aquarium Sharks Kill 40 Tankmates!

According to the Khaleej Times, Sand Tiger sharks at the soon to open Dubai Mall Aquarium have killed at least 40 smaller reef sharks and have also been aggressive towards the staff. Divers carrying out tasks in the tank, have had their equipment damaged and experienced a few minor injuries due to the aggressive behavior of the sharks.
The aquarium features 33,000 marine animals and is due to open as part of the grand opening of the mall on October 30. Let’s hope there’s still some fish left…

I really don’t blame those sharks for being so aggressive.
Probably not feeding them enough.

I was there yesterday and dove in the tank with the sharks! was an amazing experience – but you definatly have to be careful because you are in such small proximity with the sharks so you need to keep your space .. but i would recommend any divers to try it once
