It’s Shark Season in Australia!

Swimmers beware! Two sharks have been caught at Australia beaches in the past few days.
The 7.5 ft great white shark pictured here was pulled ashore off Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast yesterday, after getting caught in a shark net. And just two days earlier another man-muncher was caught off Rainbow Bay.
Officials are advising swimmers to not swim before sunrise or after sunset and to steer clear of estuaries and canals where the bullies hang out.

Great Whites are beautiful and endangered. Humans are plentiful and often ugly. Take down the nets and let the surfers and swimmers take a chance. What’s life without a little risk?

Rachael, you’re a f—ing idiot. You’re more likely to get struck by lightening than attacked by a shark, and even less likely to be killed by one. So why do you get your facts straight before you make such ridiculous comments, and more to the point shark arent able to come on land, the only someone will be killed by them is by going in the water. Shark nets should be removed and everyone should accept the risks if they’re going to go in the ocean.
