Croc Clears Aussie Beaches

An 8 ft crocodile closed three beaches north of Cairns, AU and gave trappers the slip after swimming into Ellis Beach’s stinger net on Saturday night.
Swimmers left the water after the croc was spotted lurking about 30 feet off shore at Kewarra and Clifton Beach on Saturday morning, and then Palm Cove in the afternoon.
The crocodile was finally caught at Palm Cove early yesterday and was taken to a holding facility in Cairns and will be relocated to a croc farm or zoo.
