Huge Basking Shark Caught in Peru

Looks like a 5 ton, 26 ft basking shark was caught in the Sechura Bay in Peru, about 45 miles off the coast. Apparently, not the basking shark’s usual stomping grounds.

How sad. Such a gentle creature. At least the village shared the meat.
5 tons!!! Apparently he ran out of food in his regular habitat.
