Somebody Paid $2000 to Do This??
Monday, December 8th, 2008
Two scuba divers in Mexico definitely got what they bargained for when they paid over $2000 for the “ultimate shark diving experience.” After being lowered into the water, a 15ft great white shark slammed into their metal shark cage and ripped it open!
The whole incident, which took place last year at the Isla de Guadalupe, has emerged on YouTube where it has been watched it’s already be viewed by over half a million people.

The company in question is Great White Adventures aka Shark Diving International headed by Larry Groth out of Alameda, California.
What they do not tell you on their website is that this video is their third cage breach caught on tape and by far the worst yet. They still claim a 100% safety record though. At any cost this is not good shark diving.
Why they allow this video to stay on You Tube tells you a lot about the company.
