Shark Takes Final Ride on Water Slide

According to TMZ, one of the sharks at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas somehow jumped from its aquarium onto the water slide and into the public pool!
Yesterday morning at around 9:30 AM, prior to the resort’s waterscape opening to guests, a 12+ year old female reef shark jumped over an 18 inch wide, 1 foot high structure into the resort’s water slide.
While it was a good thing there was nobody in the pool at the time, sadly, the chlorinated water sent the shark into distress. Despite efforts to recover the animal, it died shortly after the occurrence.
R.I.P. Shark!

Haven’t commented on this site in a while as the economy scares me a helluva lot more than sharks these days……just when I thought I’d seen it all in the world of crazy shark activity, this happens…so just have to scream “WTF?!!!” I remain committed to land.

how can that shark jump that high but i feel so bad for him!
That really does suck for the shark…at least they attempted to save it…kinda lucky no one slid down into it
