New Zealand Nibble
Friday, December 19th, 2008

Fisherman Ken Lindberg was checking his net when something wrapped its jaws around his leg, leaving him with a gaping wound and a ripped Achilles tendon. Yeouch.
He thinks it was either a shark or a stingray. Apparently a lot of bronze whalers come into the shallows around Auckland at this time of year to reproduce and they are known to attack people.
According to TVNZ.com, Lindberg says he has not been out to set his net since the incident.
