Third Shark Attack in Two Days!!
A 24-year-old man was attacked by a shark on the NSW South Coast today. This is the third shark attack off Australian beaches two days!
The man was snorkelling under the Windang Bridge on Lake Illawarra when what is believed to have been a bull shark bit him on the leg.
He was swimming in a school of fish when he noticed a brown shadow behind him.
The man told paramedics he thought it was a bull shark. A few bull sharks had been spotted in the area recently in search of bait fish.
The man had 40 puncture wounds to his calf and some abrasions on his right fist where he’s punched the shark.
He was able to swim to some nearby mud flats where he flagged down a boat.
After reaching land he was taken to Shellharbour Hospital and is in a stable condition.

As an Aussie even I know that in Summer of ALL times you don’t go swimming in a school of fish, your asking for something to try and take a bite out of you for crying out loud!
Well he was a Pommie…you guys should post signs at the airport so foreigners can stay out of trouble.

And despite most aussies living in a concrete jungle and never going near the bush or outback, hundreds of you a year get bit spiders, touch nasty plants etc ect and still dont learn. How do I know all this, I was a contract engineer sent to Mount Isa (northern qld)for 12 months to sort out a mess caused by THREE previous useless aussies engineers !
