Shark Sightings in SoCal?
Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

A second local resident has come forward saying he saw what appeared to be a big shark in the waters off San Clemente, California.
Dave Schulte said he was at Riviera Beach at 7 a.m. today when something “big and gray” came out of the water near Seal Rock, nearly a half-mile offshore and was apparently spooking the seals.
Pacific Coast Shark News also posted a reported sighting in San Clemente back on Jan. 8.
Just sayin’…

Duly noted my good sir sir
sorry for the double sir, sir.
I live in the area and this has been big news, esp. the Jan. 8 alleged sighting. (The Seal Rock sighting doesn’t suprise me because, um, sharks eat seals.) Apparently several people were standing around watching the shark on Jan. 8, and a surfer got out of the water once he saw it–but none of these other people have come forward to corroborate the guy’s report. Isn’t that a little strange?
um not strange, um.. why do you need someone elses affirmation to believe 1 persons testimony ?? the guy spotted a shark, i believe him end of story, nobody else needs to prove that too me.
