Fisherman Survive Shark-Infested Waters for 25 Days, Floating in Giant Ice Box!

Two men drifted for 25 days in a large icebox through shark-infested waters before they were rescued after being spotted by an aircraft crew.
The men were found desperately waving their shirts as an Australian Coastwatch plane flew across the Torres Strait, between Australia and Indonesia. The two Burmese fishermen had been on a fishing boat with 18 others when the boat was torn apart by rough waters and everyone was tossed into the ocean. As the boat went down, the two men climbed into a 5′ by 4′ icebox that had been used to store fish.
The men said there were a total of 11 other Burmese crew and seven Thais on board, but so far no-one else has been found. The men managed to survive by drinking rain water that gathered at the bottom of the box and by eating pieces of fish that were also in the container. The pair are believed to be the only survivors.

There’s something “fishy” about this story ( never mind the lack of shark encounters ). Why was the fishing boat so far out? What happened to the other crew? Why didn’t they try to get in the ice box?
hmmmm…..
They made it six days on the 50 gallons of melted fudge ripple alone…
