Another Sydney Shark Attack!

Ambulance crews were called to the scene at Avalon Beach where a young man was bitten on the leg while surfing.

According to a spokesman for the New South Wales Ambulance Service, there was some pretty serious damage.

“We ‘re not sure if he was on his own at this stage but he’s suffering upper-right thigh injuries which are quite severe and paramedics are frantically working on him and currently waiting for him to be airlifted out of there.”

The young man’s father dragged him to the shore after he was attacked. No one else was in the water at the time of the attack.

FYI: there were two other shark attacks in Sydney waters last month. Sydney swimmers beware!

what is it that surfers never learn?why be a chickensh!t and let it ruin any fun you could have in the ocean.

Yes. Because it’s SO hilarious that surfers, aka PEOPLE keep getting attacked. No one is to blame here. Surfers want to have fun, sharks are curious as to what is in their atmosphere.

I have surfed most spots on padre island and quite a few spot in southern cali, and have seen a few sharks in my time, but your chances of getting bit are very very slim. so yes it is worth an extremely small risk (especially for head high glassy hollow lefts)

because more people than ever are in the water, look at the stats you are way more likely to get in a car wreck, mauled by a dog,or even more likely to hit your head on the toilet and bleed to death. are you going to stop driving or shitting? dude, you are a fucking pussy, quit being a bitch and quit talking down on those that aren’t. by the way your are also way more likely to get killed for talking shit. if you are scared STAY HOME!
