Phipps Beach Closed Due to Sharks

Palm Beach Ocean Rescue closed Phipps Ocean Park to swimmers at about 11:30 a.m. today because of sharks.
The sharks are a continuing to cruise along the town’s beaches during their seasonal migration. Phipps and Midtown beaches have been closed periodically over the last few weeks because of shark sightings.
Lifeguards have been monitoring the water, posting double red flags prohibiting swimming as sharks are spotted. No one has been injured, yet.
