Really Big Hammerhead Caught in Florida
Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Buck Dennis reeled in a potential world-record shark near Boca Grande, FL Monday morning. The hammerhead weighed in at over 1,000 lbs. The current record is for a 620 pounds shark caught in Texas back in 1982.
Dennis caught a 1,200 pound shark in 2006 in the same area. That shark broke a world record in a different class.

Money is on that this loser also owns a Pit Bull
Yep. Probably catches giant cats in the neighborhood to feed to it Waz. Why can’t they simply take photos and measurements and let it go???? What a waste!
I like pit bulls – it just has to do with the way they are brought up.
Anyways, my dad always sends me these articles bc he knows they intrigue me but I would be more intrigued seeing it swimming around than being dragged, bloody, down the street by a forklift.
Having it used for shark research isn’t the worst thing ever but I agree with dogislandlover and think taking some photos and measurements could still have proven a new world record. The guy seems so proud.
I thought this sort of thing was illegal but I really have no idea.
he catches big sharks to make up for a small d!ck
WTF is this macho shark fishing deal about…im kinda with badfish. He certainly is trying to make up for his own past and possible present inadequecies by doing the most macho thing he can think of…killing animals. I have no qualms with fishermen…just scumbag losers you proudly display their murderous victories…and then as an after thought after killing an animal will then donate it to research. Florida seems to somehow attract a number of trashy wankers.
Sad, Sad, Sad – Take a damn picture or video and LET IT GO!
Asshole!
What a total dumb-ass loser. Is it not common knowledge these days that sharks are beneficial to our world…LIVING!
maybe one day one of those “big sharks” will catch him.
Such a waste.
That’s too bad about the shark; it’s magnificent.
you could youse it’s crapy head as a red arse hammer and get the basterd back for all it’s crimes.
sad
shout up and leave the man alone he cought it not you so go huge another tree
