Man Loses Two Fingers (And Almost His Dog) To Hungry Gator

A West Palm Beach man and his dog were attacked by an alligator while on an early morning walk Saturday.
David Grounds lost two fingers from his right hand while trying to protect his dog when the 5-foot alligator bit him.
Grounds’ dog Mandy was bitten in the stomach during the attack
Grounds was taken to Palms West Hospital and Mandy was taken to a local veterinarian.
Their conditions are unknown at this time.
