Shark Bites 10 Year Old Girl At New Smyrna Beach!

A 10-year-old girl was bitten by a shark at New Smyrna Beach this morning in waist-deep water just north of 27th Avenue.
The girl, from Orlando, was bitten on her right ankle. Apparently, the bite was minor, with about six to eight puncture wounds. She was taken to a doctor for additional treatment.
