Shark Returns to Quy Nhon Beach, Attacks Two?
Two women were bitten on the morning of May 18 while swimming in the sea of Quy Nhon city, the central province of Binh Dinh.
Nguyen Thi Thu Thao, 58, said that she was bathing in the sea with Tanh and another woman when she was bitten by a fish. She screamed out and some people approached to lead her to the shore.
On the way to the shore, the fish followed the blood bleeding from Thao’s wounds and it bit Truong Thi Tanh’s, 60, right leg when they were only 15 feet from the shore.
The two women were brought to a nearby hospital.
Doctors said that the fish only snapped at Thao’s leg so the wound is not too serious. Meanwhile, Tanh’s tendon was cut and the wound is 2″ deep. Doctors had to perform surgery to connect the tendon.
The wounds left on the victims’ legs are similar to those of previous victims of sharks.
Early this year over ten people were bitten by sharks in Quy Nhon beach. Since then, fishermen have caught three sharks.

Did they say she was bathing in the sea? And were they referring to the “fish” as the shark?
