Steve Irwin’s nine-year-old daughter Bindi unveiled her new line of Australia Zoo toys, featuring a doll modelled after her, in New York on Monday.
The Bindi doll, unveiled at FAO Schwartz, has a recording of Bindi urging people to protect wildlife.
The dolls are expected to hit the shelves at FAO Schwartz this fall.

Eight-year-old Bindi Irwin follows in the footsteps of her father, Steve, in her first special, My Daddy The Crocodile Hunter on Animal Planet tonight at 9pm. The show is a prelude to her new series, Bindi: The Jungle Girl , which begins tomorrow at 5 p.m. on the Discovery Kids.
Apparently, Steve Irwin is in about 80% of series. Creepy.

Terri Irwin traded her khakis in for a little black number Saturday as she walked the red carpet at the annual G’day USA Australia Week gala in Hollywood, stealing the spotlight from stars like Cate Blanchett, Russell Crowe, and even The Wiggles. Terri accepted a lifetime achievement award on behalf of her husband, who was killed by a stingray in September.
Meanwhile, Bindi performed with the Croc Men at the event…

The recent announcement that Bindi Irwin would continue her late father Steve’s annual pilgrimage to the US to promote Australian tourism has prompted a fight between the top names on American TV to interview the eight-year-old. Apparently Oprah Winfrey, David Letterman, Jay Leno and Ellen Degeneres are duking it out. I hope Ellen wins.

Terri Irwin’s been worried about her daughter, Bindi. Apparently, Bindi’s been just a little too happy ever since her father’s death back in September. Mom even took her to a psychologist to get her checked out. Hey, the kid’s already got her own tv show and an excercise video and tons of press… who wouldn’t be happy?

Bindi Irwin is planning to tackle the waistlines of the nation�s children. She has launched a new DVD, called Bindi Kidfitness, just two months after the accidental death of her father. The DVD shows Bindi cooking fat-free foods with her father, some slapstick comedy a bevy of singing and dancing sidekicks who help Bindi exercise her way through a program of catchy tunes.
The DVD is due to hit shelves on November 25, just in time for Christmas!
