Dolphin May Get Artificial Tail

Winter, a 10-month-old bottlenose dolphin that lost her tail in crab trap, may be getting a new one. Clearwater Marine Aquarium is hoping to raise about $100,000 to help pay for a rare operation so Winter can get an artificial tail. She’s learned to swim and play without her tail but instead of swimming up and down like a regular dolphin, she swims from side to side like a shark.

Dolphin Bites Boy’s Arm At SeaWorld

A six-year-old boy said he doesn’t want to see dolphins anymore after being bitten by one at SeaWorld Orlando. The boy’s mother said that while visiting the dolphin-petting attraction Sunday night, the dolphin grabbed Brandon Jackson’s left arm! She had to hit the dolphin’s snout until it let go of the boy’s arm. A SeaWorld spokeswoman said the dolphin would be watched and might be retrained in a “behavioral-modification” program. The family was given a private dolphin viewing and four tickets for a return visit. Like they really wanna go back…

Thanks Stacy!

R. I. P. Cindy

Cindy the dolphin, who grabbed headlines after British millionaire Sharon Tendler married him last year, died on Sunday! Apparently, he had some kind of eating disorder… Sometimes he didn’t eat at all and he vomited a lot. (Being a dude and having the name “Cindy” wouldn’t sit too well with me either.) Cindy was given a proper burial at sea.

Jessica Alba Even Turns Dolphins On

Jessica Alba is apparently so hot, she even gets dolphins horny. The actress discovered that the mammals got “aroused” by her presence when she was shooting Flipper. She told MTV: “I don’t know if anybody knows this but dolphins get excited, even when you are a human being – and they have long, long… (penises). After being poked by a few of them she requested female dolphins only.
