Chihuanhas??
Thanks Chris

According to Variety, Halle Berry is in talks to star in the action-thriller “Dark Tide.”
“Dark” is about a diving instructor who returns to the deep after a near-fatal incident with a Great White shark and is set to lense in South Africa later this year.
A giant shark and a Krakken-like octopus that thaw out and wreak havoc on San Francisco! Throw in some Lorenzo Lamas and Deborah Gibson…. what’s not to like? Out (on DVD) May 19. Netflix, here I come!

Oscar nominated actress Elisabeth Shue has apparently signed on to star in Alexandre Aja’s remake of Piranha 3-D. I’m guessing she’s not going for a second Best Actress nod with this one, but I’ll definitely be in line when it opens next March.

A brief clip from the “most anticipated Asylum movie of the year,” Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, surfaced online today showing the two undersea aquagiants going at it via some really bad CGI.
The mockbuster stars Debbie Gibson and Lorenzo Lamas and is due out on DVD May 19th!

Well, they’ve done it again. The talent pool who gave us Shark Attack, Shark Attack 2, Shark Attack 3: Megalodon, Shark Zone, and Raging Sharks are now blessing us with Shark in Venice, the story of a huge man-eating shark prowling the polluted waters of the Venice canals. A killer shark terrorizing gondolas… a treasure hunt… and Stephen Baldwin to boot? What’s not to love?
Alas, we Americans will have to wait but the DVD will be released in the UK this October.
Now watch the trailer.
Jaws turns 33 today. Thanks for the mental scars, Jaws!
Oh, and remember this?

Goblin Shark Attack, the killer-fish flick filming down under (previously known as Malibu Shark Attack) has just finished shooting in Queensland, AU. They changed the name since the movie’s predators are based on a species of shark called goblin sharks. And trust me, these are big ones.
The monster goblin sharks get released from a big underground cavern during a seaquake. The resulting tsunami washes them ashore and all hell breaks loose.
The film is still set in Malibu and stars Peta Wilson (La Femme Nikita) as lifeguard heroine Heather. Can’t wait.
