Nick Carter Hearts Dolphins

nickheartsdolphins.jpg
Nick Carter was just appointed Special Ambassador of The Year of the Dolphin.

As the future messenger for dolphin conservation, Nick plans to raise public awareness and take action to protect dolphins and their habitats.

His first project is (you guessed it) a very special song and video for dolphins. Can’t wait…

Thanks Michael K

The Littlest Mermaid

littlestmermaid.jpg
Two-year-old Leah Robbins, who began swimming when she was just four months old, can now complete a 50 meter backstroke! She’s already gained her five-meter, ten-meter and 25-meter Amateur Swimming Association certificates, and now she’s just earned her 50-meter. I smell a gold medal.

“Pirahna” Remake… This Better be Good

pirahna.jpg
After just watching Open Water 2: Adrift which totally sucked and didn’t even have any sharks in it, I’m hoping Alexandre Aja (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes ) does a better job with his remake of Piranha. Aja has has signed on to rewrite and direct the Dimension Films’ remake of Joe Dante’s 1978 cult horror comedy film. The remake is set at Lake Havasu, Ariz., a small, scenic town that is a spring break destination. When tremors tear open a crack in the lake floor, all hell breaks loose as ravenous Piranhas surface and people begin to disappear. Hot.

The Host with the Most

screenshot2.jpeg
The Host, which opens in March, is about a giant catfish-like monster that darts out of Seoul’s Han River and starts chomping on unsuspecting citizens. Apparently, there’s plenty of gore and edge-of-your-seat creepiness in this story about a family whose little girl is gobbled up by the monster. Awesome.
