Underwater videographer Jay Garbose discovered a strange worm-like creature while on a dive on Juno Ledge, near Juno Beach, Fla. When Garbose first saw the giant worm he thought it could be a sea cucumber. That was until he realized it was 7 to 10 feet long!
Scientists who have seen the video have no idea what it is.

A severed human leg, stuffed inside a plastic bag, was found Wednesday on the shore of Long Island Sound near the compound of billionaire James Dolan. A landscaper working on the property found the limb, which apparently had washed in from the sound. Homicide investigators were at the scene, and police divers were sent into the water to search for additional remains or evidence.

Some Canadians became ill after eating oilfish, a low-grade fish barely fit for human consumption that may have been mislabelled as cod. Oilfish — also known as escolar and snake mackerel — contains high amounts of a waxy type of oil. The fish is indigestible for about one in every two people, causing diarrhea as a side-effect. Ew.

A woman driving her car in Turangi, NZ stopped to investigate when she thought she saw a body laying in the middle of the road. Well, it turns out it wasn’t a body. It was a shark! A nearly 6 ft mako shark! How the shark got there is still a mystery but the smell isn’t. It was dragged off to the dump the next morning.

More than 100 rotting shark heads have been removed from a Southland beach after apparently being washed ashore from a fishing boat. Some of the heads were first noticed this afternoon and eventually more than 100 were found. Professionals were called in to remove them.
