A 50ft wave smashed into one of the world’s largest ferries in the Bay of Biscay, terrifying passengers. The wave crashed into the boat on Sunday, smashing windows and injuring at least six people. Cabins more than 50ft above the waterline were flooded. A massive, hooked and tied female tiger shark attacked an inflatable boat Saturday during shark-tagging operations off this remote reef. The 15 foot shark had been hooked and tied alongside the 25-foot boat. But with a 3 1/2-inch hook still in its mouth, the shark twisted its body 90 degrees, opened its jaws and bit down repeatedly on the boat, ripping a dinner-plate-sized chunk out of it. And by the time the shark was released, it had bent the fish hook almost completely straight!
